...yes you can chap. Chin up. But commiserations none-the-less.

So it's all guns blazing to to secure that 4th spot and the CL qualifiers. Inter can do you a big favour this w/e and I hope they do so (sorry Pat). The CL needs some fresh blood.

C'mon you Gigliati !!

I'm so sorry, football is all about highs and lows and after I got over my own dissapointment of last night my thoughts when to you and my other mate Steven who is also a Viloa fan. As you boss said "the team that renouced to play won" sort of sums it up.

Ginx,

If you don't want to talk about football perhaps you could do a post on Rangers progression in the 2008 UEFA cup because as yet I've not managed to see anything resembling football from them.

Head up you can at least forget about the UEFA cup, some of us have to start learning Russian.

We're there for you pal.

Watching them spoil a game, outplaying them completely, having to listen to their songs not of a love for their team but of a hatred of others pollute the atmosphere and at the end of it all think "how the feck did we not win that game?"

Welcome to our world.

RIP The Beautiful Game.

A victory for anti-football.
But Fiorentina need to harden up and get physcial. Much like Roma at times, a lot of toothless attacking.
Then Vieri comes on to embarass Italian football.
Liverani and Vieri were always going to miss (I called both misses when I saw them walk to the spot). It has to be the end for Vieri.

one of the australian commentators, of italian descent asked "who said cantenaccio was an italian phenomenen" after the game. Frankly, Rangers would have been more entertaining using the Italian tactic.

It's alright TT. I have been afraid all season that it would be between Fiorentina and Milan for fourth and, until we won the derby today, thought that la viola would make it.

I have a lot more anxiety now that we have our destiny in our own hands again.

Heres hoping for an inter collapse.

Thanks for all your messages of support. I don't really feel any better but at least I know I am not alone...

Ginkers, maybe when the mighty Queens give us a stiffer test than Fiorentina you'll find the strength to write again. Defensively we were terrific, offensively you were very mediocre.
I must say, the bitterness that is emerging from normally reasonable people in this country because of Rangers' success this season is remarkable.
Long may it continue...

I find it a great battle between the bitterness of people jealous of Rangers success and the bitterness of Rangers claiming everyone is trying to stop them from being successful.

We simply weren't good enough to break the Gers down and force them to play any other way. End of story.
